Welcome to Comfort Care Clinic
Our staff and certified doctors are committed to the health and well-being of all of our patients. We strive to educate and promote Medical Cannabis as an alternative treatment for a variety of conditions. Our belief is that Medical Marijuana and Low-THC products will provide relief and treatment to many patients across the State of Florida.
We encourage all patients and potential patients to do as much research as possible into Medical Marijuana treatment, as knowledge and understanding of the medication will help patients achieve the best results when using medical marijuana for treatment.
Medical marijuana has several methods of use. It is available in vape, which would require a vaporizer or 'vape pen'. It is also available as an oil, spray, tincture, cream and/or edible food products.
Medical marijuana patients must be at least 18 years old.
Patients who are under the care of a caregiver will need to complete (2) MMU Registry applications and will receive (2) medical cards.
Medical marijuana is NOT available at the clinic. However, we do have CBD products in office for purchase.
For patients approved for medical marijuana, they can have it home delivered or pick it up from a medical marijuana dispensary, a licensed grower
or processor of medical marijuana products. As of right now the amount of
local dispensaries are limited but, more will be added as the number of patients
grows throughout the state.

The Legalization of Medical Marijuana
Florida Amendament 2
The Florida Medical Marijuana Legalization Initiative, also known as Amendment 2, was approved by voters in the November 8, 2016 general election in the State of Florida.
The goal of Amendment 2 is to alleviate those suffering from these medical conditions: cancer, epilepsy, glaucoma, HIV/AIDS, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Crohn's disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, chronic nonmalignant pain caused by a qualifying medical condition or that originates from a qualified medical condition or other debilitating medical conditions comparable to those listed.
Under Amendment 2, the medical marijuana will be given to the patient if the physician believes that the medical use of marijuana would likely outweigh the potential health risks for a patient but smoking the medication is not allowed yet. Instead the product can be consumed as edibles or by using vaping, creams, oils, sprays or pills.
"Cannabis is the single most versatile herbal remedy,
and the most useful plant on Earth.
No other single plant contains as wide a range of medically
active herbal constituents."
